5 Major Game Releases in September
Hollow Knight: Silksong
September 4th
Hollow Knight Silksong is the long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed Hollow Knight. It was just released a few days ago and is quickly becoming the biggest indie release since Baldur's Gate 3. The game peaked at 500,000 concurrent players on Steam and currently sits at 350,000 players as of this article's release. If you love games that offer amazing visuals, music, and tons of value at an extremely affordable price, then this is definitely a game you want to pick up.
Borderlands 4
September 12th
The granddaddy of looter shooters returns on September 12th with Borderlands 4. Based on developer interviews and trailers, Borderlands 4 aims to offer a bigger, bolder, and more refined experience than Borderlands 3. The most exciting changes for me are the seamless open world, hidden vaults, and instant access to vehicles. If Borderlands 3 or Tiny Tina's Wonderland was a bit of a let-down for you, Borderlands 4 seems to be making steps in the right direction.
Dying Light: The Beast
September 19th
Crane's story continues in Techland's next entry in the Dying Light franchise, Dying Light: The Beast. From a gameplay perspective, this entry may be the most unique in terms of game mechanics, as the marketing for this game highlights the ability for the player to embrace their inner beast by upgrading their zombie abilities. While I haven't played Dying Light 2, I am looking forward to this entry, and so should you.
Silent Hill: f
September 25th
After the critical success of Silent Hill 2, Konami has graced us with what seems to be another horrific entry in the Silent Hill franchise with Silent Hill f. Not much is known about the game's plot, but based on the trailers, this will be a deeply emotional and grotesque adventure for the young protagonist. If you are a fan of Japanese horror than this is definitely a game you don't want to miss.
EA Sports FC 26
September 26th
Don't forget to dust off both your controller and cleats at the end of September because it will be an exciting time for Futbol fans. EA Sports FC returns with EA Sports FC 26. The Third entry in EA's renamed FIFA franchise. I know you Futbol fans can't wait to get your hands on it, and lucky for you guys, the wait won’t be long.
